CEREC is an advanced method of care, which allows for the preparation and placement of same-day ceramic restorations. This top quality and convenient system utilizes the latest CAD/CAM technology (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) with Omnicam 4.5.2 software to integrate every step of the restoration process.
Designed with patient comfort and convenience in mind, there’s no longer a need for a messy, conventional dental impression. Instead, the involved teeth are optically scanned with a slender, ergonomically designed intraoral wand, which captures detailed 3D images of both the prepared teeth and those surrounding. These images are immediately integrated and analyzed by the software program to produce an accurate virtual model and design a precise fitting, functional, and cosmetically pleasing restoration. Once the final design is approved, the bridge is ready for same-day fabrication!
